Zombie Apocalypse Part two

Chapter 2

A bit later the whole group was on the streets again. It was really quiet and that scared the band more than hundrets of Zombies.
“Where are they all…Playing Bingo or what?” Chuck mumbled holding his rifle close and looked around.
“I hope they all fall down completely and forever dead…” Glen mumbled, looking around too.
“Be happy that it is so quiet.” Alice said and looked in a sidestreet.
“Well, I am happy not to see a blood smeared stinking zombie face right now…” Ryan said, looked in a car and accidently turned on the car’s alarm system.
“Oh shit…”
“RUN!” Ori Yelled and the group started to run away from the loud car as they could hear zombies growling and a horde was behind they.
“RUN FASTER!!” Glen yelled, grabbed Alice’s wrist as he saw that the singer got slower and pulled him after him.

In the run Ryan stopped, turned around and started to shoot.
Directly Keri and Chuck stopped too and helped Ryan, while the others searched a save place.
Tommy climbed on Glens shoulder and reached a fire ladder, climbed up and managed to let it down so the others could climb up too.
“GUYS! COME HERE!” Ori yelled.
Slowly Chuck, Keri and Ryan walked backwards still shooting.
“Chuck, you climb up first, we save your back, when you are up save ours!” Ryan said, reloading his rifle and Chuck climbed up the ladder.
As he was up, he startet to shoot again too.
“Keri, now you.”
“Okay.” Keri climbed up and as Ryan tried too, something slimy was suddenly wrapped around his chest and pulled on him hard. Appalled Ryan let out a scream and let the rungs of the ladder go.
Whatever it was, this slimy thing pulled him away from the others.
“HELP ME!!!” Ryan Yelled and Chuck and Keri shoot to hit that thing around Ryan but they always miss.
Tommy used his sniper Rifle and managed to hit it.
Directly Ryan jumped up and run back to the ladder, as suddenly something jumped from one of the roofs and pushed him to the ground.
Of Course Ryan tried to get free, but this strange looking Zombie with a hoodie sat on him and gave him no chance to escape.
As Ryan tried to punsh him, the Zombie showed his dirty but sharp teeth and bite deep in Ryans Hand.
The guitarist screamed loud in Pain, as somebody pushed the Zombie away from Ryan and shoot it down.
The Zombie fall to the ground, making a noise like a kicked dog and didn’t moved anymore.
“Are you okay?” It was Keri.
Ryan nodded and they both run to the ladder again and up to the roof.
“Ori, I need a bandage or so, this thing bite me!” Ryan said and sat down, while Ori walked to him with a first aid kid.
Alice looked at the wound.
“Better clean it first, not that you get a blood poisoning or so.”
Ori pulled out a desinfectant and sprayed it on the bite before wrapping bandaged around it.
“What a shit…what grabbed you there?” Glen asked and Chuck pulled the slimy thing which was still around Ryans waist away and checked it.
He let it fall in disguss.
“Guys, that’s a tongue!”
“What?” Alice leaned down and checked that thing too.
“God, he is right…”
“Seems that a few of them mutate more than others, one of them jumped on Ryan from the top of a roof.” Keri said and the others looked at each other.
“Seems to going more bad than we thought…” Glen mumbled and Ryan stood up.
“A reason more for us to leave here as fast as possible. Do we have a new weapon for me? I lost my old.”
“Sure.” Ori gave Ryan a shotgun.
“You sure you can shoot with your hurt hand?” Tommy asked and Ryan loaded.
“Sure I can, it burns a little bit but I’m okay.”

Later that day it startet to rain. The rain drops hit hard on the roof and against the windows, while the band sat inside the building they climb on.
Tommy found a map there so they planned the best way to get out of the city.
“I think we should walk through the buildings.” Alice said but Chuck shook his head.
“We don’t know how many zombies are in the buildings and with bad luck we are caged then.”
“Hmmm yeah that’s right…What do you think Keri? Keri?” Alice looked behind to Keri who sat on a wall. Ryan lay with his head on Keris lap.
“Ryan what is it?” Ori asked and get on her knees next to him.
“I only feel a bit sick…”
“Do you want some water or so?”
“No, thank you Ori, I only wanna rest here a moment.”
“We really should hurry and I think its better we run over the streets and run only in buildings when we can’t controll the situation anymore.” Glen said and run over the map with his fingers.
“When we follow this street and then through the park we should reach a big parkin lot, with luck there is a car we can use.”
“Very good idea, so lets go.” Alice stood up and grabbed his rifle.
The others followed him down and Chuck looked out.
“Oooookay…seemed to be save…”  he whispered and the group walked out on the street, looking in all ways to be prepard for a attack which could come.
The attack didn’t came what makes everybody happy and feeling better. All instead of Ryan.
“Guys…I think I gonna…” before he coud end his sentence the guitarist bent over and puked on the street.
Directly Keri was really worried. Ryans puke was mixed with blood.
